Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for CheapChat or connecting an Instagram account or Facebook Page, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms, as well as Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies, which also apply to everything CheapChat does on your behalf.

2. Description of Service

CheapChat lets you automate conversations on your Instagram professional accounts and Facebook Pages: replying to comments with direct messages, responding to DM keywords with text, links, products, or discounts, managing conversations in a unified inbox, and tracking results with analytics. We add, change, and retire features as the product evolves.

3. Connected Accounts and Content

To use the core features, you must authorize CheapChat to access an Instagram professional (Business or Creator) account or a Facebook Page that you own or manage. We only access the comments, messages, and webhook events necessary to run the automations you configure. You remain fully responsible for the content of your posts, replies, and automated messages, and for keeping your login credentials secure.

4. Plans and Billing

CheapChat offers a free plan and paid subscriptions billed through Stripe. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the current billing period. If we change prices, existing subscribers get advance notice before the new price applies. Each plan has usage limits described on the pricing page.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use CheapChat to:

• Send unsolicited messages, spam, or engage in deceptive marketing practices.
• Harass, abuse, or violate the rights of any Instagram or Facebook user.
• Bypass Meta's rate limits, messaging windows, or platform policies.
• Distribute malicious software or collect people's data without their consent.
• Automate accounts or Pages you do not own or have permission to manage.

6. Third-Party Platforms

CheapChat is built on Meta's APIs but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta, Instagram, or Facebook. Changes Meta makes to its APIs or policies can affect or interrupt features, and any restriction Meta places on your account or Page is between you and Meta.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

CheapChat IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL SATISFY YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.

8. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL CheapChat OR ITS OWNER BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ACCOUNT SUSPENSION OR RESTRICTION BY META, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF BUSINESS.

9. Termination

You can stop using CheapChat and delete your account at any time (see the User Data & Deletion page). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or Meta platform policies, or that puts the service or other users at risk.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. When we do, we will update this page and the date at the top; continued use of CheapChat after a change means you accept the updated terms.
