User Data & Deletion

1. What Data We Retain

To run your automations, inbox, and analytics, CheapChat retains:

• Your account details (name, email, profile photo).
• Identifiers and access tokens for the Instagram professional accounts and Facebook Pages you have connected.
• Your automations: trigger keywords, replies, and templates.
• Temporary logs of incoming webhooks (comments, messages) to troubleshoot delivery and provide analytics.
• Your plan and subscription status. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store your card details.

2. Disconnect a Social Account

You can remove a connected Instagram account or Facebook Page and delete its webhook history, comments, and messages directly from the dashboard:

1. Log in to your CheapChat dashboard.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Find the account you want to remove in the connected accounts list.
4. Click Disconnect. This immediately revokes the access token on our servers and permanently purges all cached messages, comments, and webhooks for that account.

3. Delete Your CheapChat Account

To permanently delete your CheapChat account — profile, connected accounts, automations, and billing records:

1. Email hello@cheapchat.tech from your registered email address and request full data deletion.
2. We verify the request and permanently delete your account, access tokens, and all associated data within 48 hours.

4. Revoke Access Through Meta

You can also revoke CheapChat's authorization directly through Meta. Once revoked, CheapChat stops receiving events for that account.

Instagram:

1. Log in to the connected Instagram account.
2. Go to Settings & Privacy → Apps and Websites.
3. Under the Active tab, find CheapChat and click Remove.

Facebook:

1. Log in to the Facebook profile that manages the connected Page.
2. Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations.
3. Find CheapChat and click Remove.
